Amid chaos, Indo-Pak armies trade fresh shelling in Uri sector | KNO

Baramulla, August 02 (KNO) : The armies of India and Pakistan on Friday exchanged heavy gunfire along the Line of Control in Hajipeer sector of Uri in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district. Official sources told KNO that both the armies exchanged small weapons initially. “Now heavy firing started in the area which has created panic in Churanda, Silikote, Tilawari, Sadpora and other villages living along LOC.” A police officer also confirmed the fresh exchange of shelling in Uri sector and said that no loss of life or injury was reported immediately.(KNO)
